In Pursuit
of Pandas
Get close to the giant pandas in Chengdu, then continue to the Terracotta Warriors of Xi’an and the Great Wall and Forbidden City of Beijing — eight days, three iconic cities.
In Pursuit of Pandas
This journey begins where most China trips end: with the giant pandas. Two panda visits in Chengdu — at Dujiangyan and at the Panda Conservation Centre — are balanced with Sichuan’s tea houses, brocade and food.
From there, the bullet train carries you to Xi’an and a flight to Beijing, so that in eight days you see China’s most beloved animal and its most celebrated monuments.
