China as a
living classroom
Purpose-built learning journeys for schools, universities and educational institutions. Academic depth, cultural immersion and seamless logistics — handled entirely by our specialist team.
Three pathways
into Chinese civilisation
Academic Tours
Guided educational visits to China’s leading universities, research institutions and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Expert academic commentary transforms each visit into a structured learning experience. Suitable for secondary school and university groups with a curriculum focus in history, politics, economics, art or Mandarin.
Includes university campus visits and Q&A with faculty, expert lectures at heritage sites, academic networking, structured reflection sessions and a program report for institutional records.
Cultural Immersion Programs
A deeper, longer engagement with Chinese culture through hands-on experiences, language instruction and genuine community interaction. Participants live and learn alongside local families, practise Mandarin in real contexts and develop cross-cultural competencies that last long after the trip ends.
Includes daily Mandarin language classes, cultural workshops in calligraphy, tea, cuisine and tai chi, local family homestay accommodation, school partnership visits and a structured cultural exchange program.
Beijing Summer Camp
A structured 12-day residential program designed for young learners aged 14–22. Combines landmark visits with daily Mandarin classes, cultural activities, group discussions and a formal closing ceremony with participant presentations. Limited to small cohorts for maximum engagement.
Itinerary includes Forbidden City, Great Wall, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven and the National Museum. Daily cultural sessions: calligraphy, Peking Opera, Jingtailan craft, hutong exploration and a Beijing school visit.
Master Classes
& Workshops
Learn the four treasures of the study — brush, ink, inkstone and paper — under a master calligrapher. Students produce their own work to take home.
From Longjing green to aged pu-erh — a guided exploration of Chinese tea culture, history and ritual, conducted by a certified tea master.
Morning sessions in a Beijing park or temple courtyard with a trained instructor. Participants learn foundational forms and the philosophy behind them.
A rare workshop in one of Beijing’s oldest craft traditions — participants work with copper wire and enamel pigments to create their own cloisonné piece.
A lecture and hands-on session with a TCM practitioner — covering the principles of qi, acupuncture, herbal medicine and the philosophy of balance.
Learn to make dumplings, Sichuan dishes and regional specialities with a professional chef. Includes a full sit-down meal of everything prepared.
